There’s no point in reading the terrorist that is Dylan Roof’s manifesto. We don’t need to get into his fucking head. He prayed for an hour in what was supposed to be the most significant and safest space for a lot of black people, a church, and then he murdered them. Black people aren’t even safe in their own spaces. You don’t need to read his manifesto to know that he’s a racist ass terrorist. A monster.
I find that people are fascinated with racists and how they could do such a thing, but never care about the victims. The History Channel is literally dedicated to Hitler and the Nazis, documentary after documentary, but never about the victims. Stop humanizing these people. They do not deserve their humanity.

New research led by Kazuo Fujita of Kyoto University has found that your dog is the best wing man/woman. The researchers tested three groups of 18 dogs by putting them in rooms with their owners as well as two strangers. The owners were tasked with opening a box, and solicited help from the two other people in the room (sometimes they would help and sometimes they would refuse). After watching their owners either be rebuffed or aided, the dogs were offered food by the strangers — and were much more likely to ignore the stranger who had been unkind to their owner.

White privilege is being a 21-year-old loser who plots and kills 9 people in their church and when you are confronted by the police, armed, you survive without incident. Later, when you’re escorted to the police station, you are not handcuffed and you even have a bulletproof vest for protection. Meanwhile, the media is already infantilizing you and blaming your actions on anything other than you, even though you planned this attack for 6 months. No one is asking why White men are so violent when 87% of mass killings in America have been committed by White men and nobody’s calling you a terrorist when your very intent was to cause terror.
